What is Laser Skin Tightening?
Laser skin tightening is a non-invasive treatment that boosts collagen and elastin production to add volume to the skin. It can be performed on the face, neck and body to add more contour, and to help people feel younger. People lose the elasticity in their skin with age as well as a significant weight loss.
Why Choose Laser Skin Tightening?
Laser skin tightening is chosen by people wanting to improve lax skin as it is non-invasive and often provides results in one treatment. The treatments are also painless and do not require any recovery period.
Who is a Good Candidate for Laser Skin Tightening?
Anyone with lax or sagging skin whether from weight loss or age is a good candidate for laser skin tightening. It is an excellent alternative to invasive plastic surgery procedures for those with mild to moderate sagging.
How is Laser Skin Tightening Performed?
Laser skin tightening involves using a small handheld device that applies quick pulses of laser light to the targeted area. As the light pulses the area, heat penetrates the deeper layers of the skin to encourage collagen and elastin production. Treatments are not painful and may feel slightly like a rubber band snapping. Any discomfort is minimal and resolves itself within minutes following the treatments. The treatments typically take about 30 to 60 minutes to complete with no recovery or downtime.

When Will I See the Results from Laser Skin Tightening?
Patients typically notice changes in the tone and condition of the skin; however, the full results take several weeks to fully reveal themselves following laser skin tightening since it is based on collagen production. While some people achieve their desired results with only one treatment, many require multiple treatments to get the appearance they want.
