Description
This 65-year-old patient underwent complex breast revision surgery to address ruptured silicone implants and severe capsular contracture causing firmness and breast distortion. Surgery included removal of both ruptured McGhan textured silicone implants, bilateral partial capsulectomies to remove thick scar tissue capsules, and meticulous removal of free silicone material from the left breast pocket. The implants were replaced with Motiva Ergonomix 285 cc silicone implants using a no-touch Keller funnel technique to optimize implant handling and placement. A circumareolar mastopexy (breast lift) was also performed to improve breast shape, symmetry, and nipple position. The patient recovered well without complications and achieved a softer, more natural breast contour and refreshed appearance.
